TOWN OF SHARON

ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

JULY 12, 2007

7:00 P.M.  Called meeting to order.  Present:  Paula B. Keefe, Ellen Abelson,

                  Richard Gorden and Mark Mazur

1. The Board granted a fiscal year 2008 clause 22 exemption for the owner of

Parcel 3-5.     

2. The Board signed a special request for state permission to abate the back taxes

      for parcel 49-8 which is now owned by the Town.

7:15 P.M.  The Board went into Executive Session.

7:35 P.M.  The Board returned from Executive Session and resumed their

      Board Meeting.  Administrative Assessor, Mark Mazur, left to attend a

      Personnel Board Meeting.

3. The Board further reviewed the draft of a letter that we will send to abatement

applicants to explain why we have denied their application.

8:10 P.M.  The Administrative Assessor returned from the Personnel Board

              Meeting .  He reported that the Personnel Board had accepted our appeal of

              their rating of our Administrative Assistant position.  They will hear the appeal

              at their next meeting.
